Really exceptional experience in the outstanding Douro Region! Everything went perfectly from the moment we arrived, and we were continually impressed by the special details we would find and experience during our stay - every detail is really well thought of, spaces are beautifully designed and carefully decorated, rooms are relaxing, extra comfortable with a zen vibe, outdoor gardened spaces are green and peaceful, the pool is just another level beautiful with mesmerizing views, restaurant with delicious and traditional propositions... I could go on but this hotel should really be properly experienced :) Thanks to everyone in the hotel who keeps pushing to deliver every guest an amazing experience and helping creating such special moments and memories! Really glad we got to experience Lamego Hotel & Life, hoping we can come back as soon as possible for some more really relaxed, magical days in Douro :)

It was amazing coming back to LHL and stay there for a delightful weekend! You just feel at home there, where every detail is carefully thought of and the attention to the guest is the utmost priority. Every piece is in place in this hotel, from the comfortable bedrooms, charmful common areas where you can spend quality time overlooking the vineyards, to the climatized indoor and outdoor pools. Everything is set to create the perfect atmosphere and symbiosis between the renovated spaces, the traditional and cultural heritage of the hotel, the city and the Douro region. There's nothing quite like it, really! The renovated outdoor and indoor swimming pools are just another proof that this hotel keeps reinventing itself to provide unforgettable experiences and elevating the standards of the hotel experience in Portugal and in our nothern region! I wrote it the last time I was here and repeat it - this is The place to go to discover the Douro region - you'll stay close to the city center of the most charming city of the region, Lamego, however in a unique, relaxing setting with outstanding views to the vineyards. Lastly, and because they will always be the main drivers of a true luxury experience, a huge shoutout to all the staff - everyone knows that the genuine attention and kindness you get in the north of Portugal are special, but this hotel levels it up! PS.: no one should miss on the new Marieta SPA and the restaurant! Mandatory experiences that will make anyone's stay event more unforgettable! Thank you all and congratulations on an amazing job!

An incredible property. We were just driving through so we only stayed one night, but I would love to return for longer. I think it would make a great base to explore the Douro. The room was spacious and simple. Great linens, lovely bath products. The pool is stunning with a view of the valley. Big, well-appointed fitness center. Gorgeous spa (that I didn't have time to use, sadly.) Fantastic restaurant-- we enjoyed dinner and breakfast, and both were quite good.

We were blown away by our stay at Lamego Hotel & Life; from our initial warm welcome at reception, to the breakfast, the spa, the pool, the food - everything was fantastic. We felt thoroughly pampered and relaxed after our 2 nights and desperately didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was amazing! Our favorite part of a 3 week europe trip. It's beautiful, modern, with a nice pool, great views, amazing food and an overall zen vibe. The room is large and the bed comfortable. It has an awesome well-equipped gym which my husband and I used throughout our stay. Good location in the Douro Valley and really a fantastic place to stay.

Very nice facility. The atmosphere was so nice. The staff; from cleaners, reception, masseurs, servers was absolutely great with no exceptions wich is rare to experience. This is one of the best hotel we have visited ever..

this was THE BEST hotel of our trip in portugal. Amazingly nice staff, beautiful property, and the most delicious breakfast you can imagine. Dinners in the restaurant were excellent too. Great location for exploring Douro Valley as well. We are dreaming of going back!

The staff were absolutely lovely. Always happy to help. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, and beautifully styled with great views. Wonderful spa and pool setting. Great place to unwind.

An amazing hotel with SPA facilities located at the heart of the Durocher Valley. Service and stuff were above and beyond. I wish I booked more then one night.
